O is a really pretty letter. First of all it’s round…ish. Second it serves as a means to express surprise, by itself, or as part of the well known OMG (oh my God, to you non-connaisseurs).

O is also the start of several elements: orchids – beautiful flowers, which I’ve come to learn can be found almost everywhere, apart from glaciers and desserts (talk about spreading). I happen to like orchids as their colors are beautiful (my personal favorite is the purple one) and their flowers are lasting. O also stands for Oriental (or Eastern). I’ve always been fascinated with oriental culture (though I don’t always agree with their culinary choices – scorpions in Vietnam for instance), some oriental religions (buddhism really appeals to me), oriental art.

Another big “O” stands for orgasm – now I don’t have to tell you about it, you’ve read/heard about it, hopefully even experienced quite a few of them ;)

O is also for owl – I am fascinated with these birds as they are told to be very wise, also in modern culture it is said that if an owl cries next to a house, somebody is expected to die. Creepy! My favorite owl is Hedwig (Harry Potter anyone )

O is for open – to reach our maximum we need to keep open a lot of things, most importantly our eyes and minds.So there you have it. The roundy of the alphabet!
