to Kindle or not to Kindle

It’s 2 am, the wind outside is howling (or maybe the neighborhood dogs) and as sleep seems to evade me, my mind poses a serious question: to Kindle or not to Kindle?

What is Kindle? It’s a handy-dandy device, meant for….reading. Yes, soon the days of good old fashioned books will come to an end (I seriously hope not). So what do you do with the Kindle? Simple – you download ebooks and read. Of course it sounds simple, and I think it is. The device is very slim, can hold up to 3,500 books (depending on the memory) and is perfect for traveling.

Now, when you combine books and traveling, it’s music to my ears. The Kindle will help me lose extra weight (in my backpack, not the love handles *sigh* ) and it is said that the battery can hold up to one month, if you don’t use the Wi-Fi (did I mention it can connect to the internet via Wi-Fi? Bless its little circuits).

So, the ultimate question remains: to Kindle or not to Kindle?
